the unit is now 9 years old in 2018, it was 7 years old when it was brought over here in 2016. And as to this day the unit is still quiet now.

I have a newer one at my grandparents beach house from 2012 it’s pretty quiet although it does like to vibrate but I fixed it

I have a 15 year old zenith and it yellowed a little bit but not this much

i have a 1978 kenmore and it has not yellowed at all because it is wood grain.

well yeah wood doesnt yellow as far as I know

it is plastic and it does have the same reaction as what causes the white plastic to yellow, but it does turn darker in shade, but not too bad.

I've only had the unit since July 2016, I have no idea how long the previous owners had it, but yes I'm still hoping to figure that out.
